Like I’ve always said, this is an “Occasional Blog”. It seems that it has been around 3 years since I last posted, although on my other website, I’m finally managing weekly posts!
Life has changed as we know it and everyone is having to adjust.
Therapists included. At the moment, we are finding that many existing clients are fearful of losing their jobs, as well as being impacted by the virus, so not talking to their therapists. There is of course another viral issue that’s forefront and that is fear/anxiety. That we can help you with.
Now, more than ever, it is important to establish a regular meditation practice. I would recommend a guided meditation – only so that you focus on what is being said, rather than allowing your mind to wander and ruminate on probable outcomes. A regular meditation practice has been scientifically shown to increase your levels of Iga – which helps you with your immunity. Not a magic bullet, but could certainly help you to lower any anxiety you might be feeling.
